This is the finest coffee Ethiopia has to offer. The lot we have is particularly well processed. This intense coffee has a medium cup with a medium to full body. Its flavor is complex in that it is delicate yet has a wonderful wild berry taste with a thick liquor flavor and a lingering, crisp finish. It has an exquisitely floral bouquet that is complex and earthy. Ethiopia is considered the birthplace of the coffee plant. Our coffees are grown in small plantations southeast of the capital Addis Ababa. It is a dry processed coffee grown at an elevation of 4,200 to 6,000 feet. It is harvested between the months of September and December.
